Reviews and Ratings

Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

More aromatic than buttery…
Presentation: Nice label, modern, distinctive, consistent branding, but odd description in the back to try to sell the Chardonnay
Appearance: light yellow with a tinge of green
Nose: Smells a little more aromatic, with notes of fruits (peaches, grapefruit) and a little sweetness
Taste: Not heavy, easy to drink, with some citrus and floral notes
Finish: The lemon/citrus comes out at the end, as well as some popcorn (toasted/charred wood) and alcohol
Overall impression: We seem to be split on this. One of us likes the wine as an easy Chardonnay to drink, the other finds it rather bitter in the back. On the positive, it is not a heavy, syrupy Chardonnay, so it should be easier for most people to drink, and rather versatile as a wine in terms of pairing it with food.
Value: 3.5/5
This Niagara white wine is made from Chardonnay grapes and the wine itself was matured in oak barrels, though only a small fraction of it. - Community Wine Reviews
