Mocha espresso robust red with satin texture and a great finish. Very juicy and generous with attractive black plum aromas and flavours. Excellent pinotage. Try it with grillled pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

One of the first bottles of Pinotage released over the last couple years that didn't have some asinine coffee reference. While displaying the classic Kenya AA/Mocha notes, the black fruit really comes through on the note and palate, with black plum skin, spice, and a touch of vanilla on the finish. Good depth and concentration, this grape needs to shed its current image and come back with some serious bottlings like this one. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Polished & elegant version from Breedekloof vines. Toasty nose on ’10 of baked black fruits with whiffs of coconut from American oak, 40% new. Smooth & silky with dark concentrated fruits, velvety tannins, hints of chocolate, spice & plums. Score: 4½ (out of 5) Source: Cathy Marston, Platter’s South African Wine Guide, 2013
