Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Decant 1.5-2hrs. A red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinotage from South Africa. Deep ruby opaque colour. Bouquet shows dark fruit; blackberry, cherry, prune, plum, leather, tobacco, pepper, espresso and tarragon. Flavours are fruity with tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, smoke, and pepper heat. High biting lingering acidity, medium plus body, and finish. Pair with blue cheese burgers and chilli. 87 points - January 2018
Flagstone Dragon Tree (2014) is a red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Pinotage. This medium-bodied red blend has pronounced blue flower on the nose with ripe, dark fruit, cloves and cedar spice on the palate. Tannins are chewy and this wine could use a few more years in cellar. Drink from 2019 to 2025. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
