Lots of butterscotch, caramel, vanilla smoke and hickory on the nose of this full-bodied Californian white wine made from Chardonnay grapes that's been generously oak aged. Pair with roasted chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, grilled seafood, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, breads.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This delicious Napa Valley, California Chard has a nose of apple, melon, lemon and buttered toast. On the palate, find buttered toast, lemon, honey dew melon, ripe pear and vanilla. Smooth mouth-feel and a rich, buttery fruit finish. I'm in love!
This robust Californian Chardonnay finishes with yellow apples, caramel, pears in butterscotch. First Press winery is owned by Delicato Family Vineyards. This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2014 Consumer Wine Awards in Lodi, California. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
