Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviewer rated this wine as 92/100
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2023. Blended from 40% Tempranillo, 40% Malbec, 10% Merlot, and 10% Syrah. Rich red berry notes, raspberry, cherry and plum, hints of sous bois and a hint of sweet tobacco. Fruit is still quite bright, with a hint of tannic, dried tea notes on the palate and a drying finish on the palate. Nicely balanced, medium bodied, acidity is lower, smooth and soft. If you still have this, can enjoy with some bright fruit and also some dried, aged notes as well. Enjoy with rustic stews or mushroom dishes.
From Bodegas y ViƱedos O. Fournier winery in the Valle de Uco, Argentina, this deep red 40% Tempranillo, 40% Malbec, 10% each Merlot and Syrah (2011) has a pronounced nose of tarragon, raspberries, cranberries and cedar. On the palate the wine is soft, and full with flavours of red fruits, cranberries, raspberries and a lingering sweet spicy cedar finish. Acidity is refreshing and tannins are chewy but manageable.
