Fielding 2021 is a great value rosé under $18. Produced from 46% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Gris and 19% Gamay from vineyard plots designated for rosé. The wine juice for each varietal was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks and then blended. Fragrant with pink florals and bright cherry aromas, it's bright with fresh cherry, strawberry, pear, fine herbs, grapefruit zest and pepper spice flavours fresh on the palate. Chill and enjoy with grilled chicken dishes.

Rosé food pairings: veal chops in creamy white wine sauce, veal schnitzel, cold turkey sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This was my weekend wine pick: a lovely rosé from the Niagara Peninsula, a blend of 46% Pinot Noir, 35% of Pinot Gris and 19% of Gamay. Aromas and flavours of strawberries with hints of citrus. Paired well with crab cakes. 12% alcohol. Another great VQA wine. Available online on the winery’s website at $17.95: https://fieldingwines.com/wine-cider-shop/wine/rose/2021-rose/ Also available at the LCBO https://www.lcbo.com/en/fielding-ros-c-2020-53421
