Lagnusa 2015 is a robust Sicilian Nero d'Avola and one of the best vintages from Vigna Lagnusa. On the palate, the juicy red is spicy, with earthy florals and ripe dark plum flavours. Tannins are silky. Great acidity for food. Pair with your favourite meat pasta and rich tomato sauce dish.

Nero D'avola food pairings: roast chicken, roasted root vegetables, meaty stews.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Purple plum, red cherry, dried earth, dried flowers, and a whiff of cedar are the hallmarks of this delicious Nero D'Avola. Everything is high-toned here, with a backbone of racy acidity. Think tomato-based pastas here. Drink now through 2022. 90 Points.
Feudo Montoni Lagnusa 2015 is a robust Sicilian Nero d'Avola and one of the best vintages from Vigna Lagnusa. The nose is fragrant with earthy florals and ripe plumbs. Look for juicy black plums, blueberry fruit, earthy florals, cedar and menthol flavours on the palate. Tannins are well-integrated. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with peppered spicy salami, olive tapenade and crostini. - Community Wine Reviews
