Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dry and aromatic with dark berries and plums, sweet spice and hint of smoke. Crafted from Sicily's Nero D'Avola varietal. A great choice with Prosciutto, black olive tapenade or game.
Tasted March 2018
This Nero D'avola Noto from Sicily is medium-plus bodied with wild red berry, savoury spice and smoky flavours on the palate. Feudo Maccari 2015 750 is great value under $20. Monica, Moretti Cuseri began the meticulous work of recovering the ancient albarello vine-training system used for the grapes in this wine. A lot of manual care, continuous and meticulous pruning of each vine is necessary to ensure maximum light and air circulation around the grapes and vines. - Community Wine Reviews
