Reviews and Ratings

Ferraton Père & Fils La Matinière 2017 is a rich, fleshy and mouth-watering Crozes-Hermitage, produced from 100% Syrah. Fermented in temperature-controlled concrete tanks, then 14 months in concrete vats and partly matured in French (neutral) oak barrels for 12 months prior to bottling. Look for bright red berry fruit, blackcurrants, red cherry, cherries, raspberries, savoury herb and pepper spice flavours long and smooth on the palate. La Matinière translates to “early bird” and is in reference to Colette Ferraton, wife of winemaker, Michel Ferraton. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
