A rich, medium- to full-bodied red with enticing aromas of mocha and black fruit. There's a savoury note on the mid-palate with a satisfying long finish. Perfect for dinner parties and more casual get-togethers.

Sara Connelly reviewed this wine as follows:

This wine shows fresh berries and some green pepper up front, with mild smoke and liquorish mid-palate. There is a slight spicy finish.
A full-bodied and flavourful wine with deep rich colour. Fruity with ripe red berry flavours. Smokey aromas attest to time in American oak. Tremendous vitality. Decent tannins and length mean it also cellars well.
