A savoury, cedar-rich, wild dark berry wine with a distinctive signature of cool climate Cabernet France in the best sense. Not a trace of bell pepper or herbal notes. Luscious and mouth-watering; smooth, supple and full-bodied. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: lamb, beef rosciutto, goat cheese, turkey, beef stew with root veggies, red pepper stuffed with rice and meat.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a really lovely example of Cabernet Franc from a beautiful winery in the Niagara region. Aromas are ripe berry and rich, almost smoky cedar. The wine itself is quite full bodied. Berry flavours are more raspberry on the palate, and cedar is more spicy and warm. The finish lingers and there are some young tannins to stand up to robust dishes and flavours. Try this with grilled pork tenderloin or lamb chops.
The 2013 vintage of the Featherstone Cabernet Franc won a Silver Medal at the 2015 InterVin International Wine Awards. Firm tannins. - Community Reviews
