Featherstone 2020 Gamay is a vegan-friendly Niagara Peninsula Gamay aged for 10 months in American oak barrels. Dry, medium-bodied, juicy and spicy, look for pink florals, sour cherry red plum, and red berry flavours on this spicy red perfect for steaks or cedar-planked salmon from the grill. Lightly chill and enjoy it through 2025.

Gamay Noir food pairings: chicken parmesan, turkey burgers, three-pepper steak, grilled pork tenderloin, herbed roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cherry and strawberry, along with notes of black pepper, and smoky spice. Medium bodied, with bright acidity, and light, slightly drying tannins on the palate, along with bright berry notes and a slight hint of peppery spice on the finish. Enjoy with grilled ribs. This is a lovely summer wine you can also slightly chill without losing any of the lovely fruit notes.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
