Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Very ripe raspberry with a sight oxidative note, and lots of smoke. The taste is raspberry and plum. It was a touch 'hot' when I first sipped it, but as the glass sat, it smoothed out, so it may need to breathe a bit. This would be a hit with barbecued pork.
Faustino has a long established reputation as a producer of quality wines. The Bodegas Faustino wines show the love for the land and the expertise of a family of winemakers with a tradition in winemaking for over 150 years.

Aged for 10 months in American oak, this estate wine from Rioja displays ripe red berry fruit aromas with a hint of vanilla. Well balanced and velvety.
