Reviews and Ratings

Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Appearance: Light pink
Nose: Raspberries, strawberries, a little alcohol
Taste: A dry wine, with fruity notes on the front end, some alcohol, and then herbaceous notes at the end
Finish: Dry, long finish (caudalies), not overpowering.
Overall impression: Overall, a decent rosé. Easy to drink on the patio, good for a BBQ. Best when a little chilled, but not refrigerator-cold. I had it with turkey and apple sausage, grilled red onion, grilled peaches, and quinoa (I know, quite the combination). It paired well (and stood up to – could still taste the wine) with the sausage, grilled red onion and quinoa, but it became very herbaceous (grass, herbs, plants) with the peaches. Clearly, the peaches were too sweet for the wine and there were no peach notes in the wine itself.
Value: 4/5 – Pretty good value. Not the best rosé I’ve ever had (see the Buzet I drank on my website https://emilieryan.wordpress.com/2015/09/12/wine-of-the-month-september-2015/), but I would buy it again to have on the patio or to give as a hostess gift for a summer party.
