Gorgeous black pepper, cedar brush and wild black cherry on the nose of this terrific southern French red wine. Perrin is one of the most respected producers in the Rhone Valley, and this is all the more impressive given this wine is organic. Amazingly great price for this quality. Pair with free range beef.

Food pairings: grilled venison steak, bison burgers, rack of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Aug 7th 2017, with friends, blind tasted. Colour medium plus ruby red, good legs. Aromas and flavours, raspberry, blackberry, herbs spice, fruity. Taste dry, medium plus mouthfeel, grippy tannins, nice long finish of cherry fruit. I like this wine a lot because of the great fruit flavour and enjoyment. Paired with burgers from the grill.
Perrin's Nature (2015) from the Côtes Du Rhône wine region is juicy black cherry, cedar spice and black pepper on the nose and palate. As with many of Perrin's wines, this one is also organic and is great value. The Perrin family own Château de Beaucastel and are one of the most highly respected wine families and winemakers in the world. - Community Wine Reviews
