Reviews and Ratings

Jane LeFresne reviewed this wine as follows:

Why I Tried this Wine: I took a trip to Prince Edward County and made a stop at this small family run winery. It’s not fancy but the wines speak for themselves. I can’t wait to head back.

Tasting Notes: very light cherry colour

Aromas of red berries including raspberry, cherry, cranberry with hints of smoke, spices minerality and vanilla.

Flavours of sour cherry, raspberry spices and vanilla.

This is a very well balanced wine with great acidity and tannins but not over whelming.

Food Pairing: I paired this with duck and it was a great combination.

Would I buy this Wine Again: Yes. I would take this wine home to my mother because it is not too bold and the balance is perfect for those who don’t like their wine too acidic or tannic. It’s definitely a dinner party appropriate wine. You will have to buy it directly from the winery.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
