Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

In the same flavour family as Sauvignon Blanc but smoother and richer. Intense aromas of bright lemon, white floral, pear, yellow apple, peach, melon, honey and wax. Intense flavour continues on the palate, starring lemon zest, lemon, white grapefruit and wet stones with a hint of salinity. Dry, food friendly acidity, high alcohol, and medium bodied.Sensational on its own and wonderful with Beemster goat cheese; should also pair well with asparagus and greens.
From the Santorini wine region, Argyros 2017 Assyrtiko is a zesty white produced from old vines Assyrtiko wine grapes with white floral, lime zest and spicy flavours, finishing with a briny minerality on the palate. Great acidity for food. Chill and pair with calamari. Santorini was established in 1903. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
