Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Bright and spicy Pinot Noir from Monterey, in the south central coast of California.
Aromas of cherries, vanilla and leather carry through to a lengthy spicy cherry finish.
Wonderful as a compliment to sharp cheeses or roast chicken.
Tasted June 2018.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Feb. 2, 2018 in Aruba. Colour medium ruby red. Medium legs. Aromas and flavours of cherry, raspberry, cinimmon stick. Taste dry, fruity, medium mouthfeel, mouthwatering, a little grip in the tannin. Finish of fruit and dry coco. We liked this wine easy to drink and has a nice cherry chocolate finish. Serve it with a grilled salmon or glazed ham according to the bottle label. Nice wine for Pinot Noir lovers.
Estancia 2016 from Monterey County, California is a vibrant Pinot Noir that is full of bright red fruit and concentrated ripe black cherry, plum, raspberry and cake spice. Grapes were hand-harvested, whole-cluster fermented and aged in small oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
