An incredible Pinot Noir for the money! Wow, they usually call Pinot Noir the heartbreak grape because it's difficult to grow and therefore more costly to buy. This is no heartache though for your wallet. Lovely black cherry aromas on the nose and palate. Almost full-bodied, satin smooth and rich. Pair with grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This vintage of Pinot Noir came from grapes in the Manzanar vineyard, 100-300 meters above sea level. Lots of rich red fruit on the nose, especially strawberry. There are kind tannins on the palate, and flavors of oak coming through from the French oak barrel fermentation. Lovely.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cooled by Pacific Ocean breezes, Chile’s Aconcagua Valley has ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir. This one shows a fresh nose of bright cherries, earthy notes and a touch of mint. The palate adds touches of smoke and oak. Firm tannins and a smoky finish. Flavours blossom nicely with decanting. Enjoy with grilled duck or salmon.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fantastic price for this Chilean Pinot Noir! Aromas are a nice mix of tart cherry, smoke and earth. Flavours are similar and medium bodied, with a bright acidity. Great wine for pork tenderloin or even lamb.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Excellent value! Pale ruby with aromas and flavours of cherry, mushroom/compost, meaty, charred wood, vanilla. Points for varietal typicity. Light-bodied and refreshing acidity. Not an overly long length but smooth. Sip on it's own or enjoy with pizza, mushroom risotto.

Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

A bit of a Goth smokey-eyed teenager on the nose; i usually prefer my pinot noirs to be a little more fruity. On the palate, this cherry-cranberry character comes to the front, with a soft vanilla character.Paired maybe with baby back ribs, or pulled pork sandwich?Or with duck gésiers salad.
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Earthy, dirty nose, with hints of leather and compost. Bright red fruit on the palate, hot in the mouth, boozy and overextracted. Soft tannins, racy acidity and a medium finish that reintroduces some of the brighter fruit flavours. If you can get past the nose, try it with mushroom pot pie, steak and Guinness pie, or something saucy like barbecued ribs.
