From the Awatere Valley, Marlborough, South Island, Eradus 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, medium-bodied SB fragrant with grassy, pineapple, ripe stone fruit and stoney mineral aromas. Dry, with pineapple, lemon-lime zest, melon, peach flavours finishing with a vibrant citrusy minerality. Loads of flavour here. Chill and enjoy with a scallop ceviche.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seafood pasta in creamy sauce, tempura vegetables, pan-fried panfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A nicely layered and zesty New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough’s Awatere Valley region. Vibrant Aromas of grass, gooseberry, kiwi, citrus. Lively on the tongue with flavours of sunny citrus, lemon peel, and limestone. Bright, balanced acidity and minerality on the finish. Extra dry and refreshing. This will pair perfectly with a variety of foods, or chilled on its own. Great with seafood. Cheers!
Jay Denney rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fantastic juice! Aromas bursting with citrus and stonefruit orchards. Bold flavours of fingerlime, passionfruit and gooseberry. Bring on the ceviche with this one!
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This has a pretty, feminine nose of white flowers, talc and mild lemongrass. The palate is greener than the nose suggests but still refined and nicely balanced. This is an elegant wine with a respectable finish that would be wonderful with a Greek salad or wipped Feta dip. Tasted 5 May 2022 thewineloverskitchen.com
