Vibrant acidity in this bright New Zealand Pinot Noir with very tart and sour chary aromas and flavours. This medium-bodied, smooth red wine cries out for food. Feed it fresh seafood.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal medallions, lamb in a red wine sauce, roasted pork loin, coq au vin, venison burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful dark plum colour in the glass. The nose opens with lots of spice and gives way to smoke, leather and flint. Plate is dominated by tart cherries. Tannins have smoothed out. Medium body/medium finish. Tasted May 2017
The New Zealand Pinot Noir grapes for this red wine are grown in the Tarras and Alexandra regions of the Central Otago. The Pinot Noir wine grapes for this wine are hand-harvested. Look for dark cherry, earthy florals and cedar spice flavours on the palate. Lots of great acidity to pair with food -- roast New Zealand lamb. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
