Reviews and Ratings

CarrieMac @sudburyvino rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Intense garnet-purple hue with lots of dark berry fruit on the nose. This descending blend of Monastrell, Syrah and Petit Verdot is full of dark fruit, blueberry, chocolate and a little spice. There is some nice mouth watering acidity and some tannin on the flavorful finish. This wine spent 4 months in American Oak, and is a full bodied wine that will pair well with blackened grilled beef ribs. Great value wine at $13.95!
From the Jumilla wine region in Spain, El Gorú Bodegas Ego (2015) is a red wine blend of 50% Monastrell, 30% Syrah and 20% Petit Verdot. The dry and full-bodied red is intense with rip purple and black plums, chocolate and sweet spice from oak ageing. Pair with roast duck. - Community Wine Reviews
