A robust Californian Cabernet with excellent structure and firm tannins. Aromas of cassis and black currant. This baby needs cellar time then decant 1-2 hours and pair with rare meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: veal chops, rosemary lamb, barbecued ribs in sauce, strong cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Sonoma Valley, California, this Cab Sauv shows a lovely nose of raspberry jam, vanilla and slightest mint. The red berry flavours continue on palate with more mint, eucalyptus, bellpepper and toasted oak in a satiny smooth texture and well-blended flavours on a long finish.
Tasted Nov. 2016
This Cabernet Sauvignon from California needs some cellar time; 10% Merlot was added to the blend, which gives soft plum and cherry flavours to the wine as well. If drinking now, decant for a couple of hours prior to serving with a slab of marbled steak done rare. - Community Wine Reviews
