Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Hmmm.... the LCBO releases this wine 10 days after New Years Eve. Kind of like being late to the party. This 2016 release is consistent with prior tasting notes - ample melon and peach fruit are easily found. Perhaps a bit more sweetness in this wine from prior releases - it's rated a "Medium".
Tremendous value in the glass with this German sparkling wine from one of the country's best-known producers. Lovely tart green apple notes on the palate and finish. Bubbly many in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic is called Sekt, and the second fermentation that adds the bubbles usually takes place in stainless steel fermentation tanks that are pressurized, the Charmat method versus the Champagne Method where the second fermentation takes place in the bottle. - Community Wine Reviews
