Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

2008 DiamAndes De Uco Argentina Gran Reserva Mendoza. Deep ruby colour with an opaque core, the rich and smoky dark berries, cassis, stewed dark fruit, mint, cedar, and chocolate on the nose. Densly flavoured with intense dark berries, grippy tannins, earth. It's chewy, rich, and layered with great fruit, savory notes, and texture. Highly recommended. 94 points. Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An uber masculine rustic Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the Uco Valley in Mendoza Argentina. Coffee, mocha sweet roasted hazelnuts capture the attention of the nose all to welcome chocolatey, sweet tobacco, earthy and tart cherry flavours on the palate. Decant this full bodied red at least one hour prior to serving. It's aging potential goes right up to 2020. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
