Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

[First impression] This wine is so rich you can smell the body! This Malbec pours with an alluring deep ruby red appearance and pronounced aromas of ripe black plums, cassis, graphite minerality, violets, leather and touch of cocoa powder! The palate is robust showing ripe concentrated notes of black berry fruit, plum, vanilla, anise notes with a finish that goes on forever. This wine is full bodied showing moderate acidity and moderate plus (integrated) tannins. You can cellar it, but why? Drink this yummy wine now with your favourite steak. For this price, I say back up the truck! Tasted May 2016. @sommsosa @bespoketastings
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Malbec is crafted from a special selection of grapes from high altitude vineyards in Agrelo. Malbec lovers will rejoice at the oodles of red and black berries over toast with warm baking spices indicative of the French oak aging. Tannins are polishing but worth decanting a good hour prior to serving. A decent smooth smoky finish. Solid price performer. Enjoy with Argentinian BBQ steak - medium-rare. Drink now.
