Produced by Château De Selle Coeur De Grain, this is spectacularly great, and probably the best-known rose in the region famous for it. Dried herbs, savoury goodness, bone dry, complex. This is the Dom Perignon of rose from Provence. Domaines Ott is a Cru Classe that leads the pack worldwide for rose, thus that price tag. Complex, wild yet elegant. Love that curvy bottle too. Pair with halibut.

Rosé food pairings: seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2014 vintage of the Domaines Ott rose is as exceptional as ever: these are the benchmark roses for style and elegance. Aromas of fresh herbs, lavender and garrigue (wild brush) on the finish. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
