Light and pretty with pale pink aromas of fleeting field strawberries. Bone-dry and light-bodied. Love the funky bottle. Try it as an aperitif.

Rosé food pairings: egg dishes, fresh steamed freshwater shrimp stuffed avocado, spring salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is how a rosé can taste when taken as seriously as a white or red wine. Dom Ott is known for taking rosé seriously and creating some of the most intriguing rosés in the world. Light salmon colour, silky textured wine, with raspberry, and nectarine notes, it has a lingering mouth-watering acidity on the finish. Dry rosé with elegant fruitiness on the mid-palate, and lime acidity on the finish. Extremely food friendly.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Initially muted nose that opens up as it warms slightly: white mushrooms, wild strawberry, cranberry, Meyer lemon, dried herbs.

Crisp on the palate and well-balanced. Pink grapefruit, light strawberry, mineral notes. A long finish that really lingers, with a slight Sherry-like salinity.

Quality rose - at a price. I'd like to cellar one for three years and see how it develops.

Tasted November 2018.
Domaines Ott, Château De Selle 2017 is cru classé rosé. Bone-dry and light-bodied, this rosé has layers of red berry fruit, most forward strawberry and finishes with a smoky minerality. - Community Wine Reviews
