Domaine Seguinot-Bordet is owned and operated by one of the best known families in the Chablis region who has been making wine since 1590. This crisp Chablis Cru Village with green apple crunch, flinty mineral flavours is made by winemaker Jean-François Bordet. He uses a revolutionary new cylindrical-shaped horizontal fermentation tank that makes more complete contact o the juice with the skins and lees to add extra body and finesse to the wine. Pair with fresh seafood.

Chablis food pairings: fresh steamed freshwater shrimp sammies, seafood hotpot, steamed mussels and frites.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Domaine Seguinot-Bordet has been making wine since 1590 and their expertise shows in this delicate, balanced and elegant Chablis. Fragrant ripe pear & tropical notes with subtle vanilla and just-right acidity levels. Elegant choice for seafood stew or roast chicken.
Tasted Jan. 2019
Domaine Séguinot-Bordet 2015 is a lemon zesty Cru Village Chablis, crisp with crunchy green apple, mineral flavours and a leesy finish. Typical northern-Burgundy style white with bracing acidity for oysters on the half-shell, coquilles St. Jacques, linguine alla vongole or moules marinières. - Community Wine Reviews
