Vibrant aromas of cherry pie, purple plum and blueberry on the nose. Lots of juicy goodness on the palate with some terrific mouth-watering acidity for food. Finished dry and crisp, and makes you want another glass. Pair with beef bourguignon.

Gamay (Beaujolais) food pairings: beef bourguignon.

Gold Medal at the 2012 Concours Générale Agricole in Paris. Cru Beaujolais from Morgon features terrific aromas of blueberry, plum, marasca cherry and spice cupboard. Dry with a lot of plummy/berry-cherry fruit on the palate. There’s a tangy acidity that brings the wine into perfect alignment, and a great delivery of fruit and grippy, youthful tannins on the finale. Cellar it 1-3 years, or enjoy it tonight. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
