A stunning Pinot Noir from a strong vintage. This cool climate Niagara red wine is extremely aromatic with notes of ripe red berries and spice. Supple and smooth with polished tannins. Organically farmed grapes. Racy acidity for roasted turkey and veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Bright ruby cool climate Pinot with well
a complex aromatic profile. Elegant with fantastic mouthwatering acidity. Well structured backbone of elegant slimy tannins with moderate alcohol and fruit concentration. Organic Ontario viticulture. Dark cherry, raspberry, baking spice and a layer of chalky minerality on the palate. Medium - long finish. Tasted the 2015 vintage of "la Grande Reserve" Pinot Noir in April 2018. Pairs well with roasted chicken or turkey, pork tenderloin. 94 points
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Simply stunning! Aromas of cherry, strawberry, leather, vanilla, dried oregano, and cedar smoke. Medium bodied with smooth tannins, bright acidity, and a wonderful balance of fruit, smoke, spicy and leathery notes. Slightly earthy on the finish. Overall, beautifully balanced, aromatic, and full of flavour. Enjoy with salmon, turkey, chicken or pork.
