Classic black pepper, briary, black fruit and tar on the nose. Full-bodied and delicious. Great value for the price. Needs a hearty steak. Reminds me of why I love Rhone wines so much.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby in colour, with medium body and soft tannins, this refreshing with has flavours of black currant, black berry, raspberry, baking spices, and savoury earthy complexity, the flavours linger on the fruit-driven finish.
Enjoy today, or cellar until 2017.
Pair with pungent cheeses, finer cuts of beef and lamb, or savour on its own.
Date tasted: April 2014.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Tasted April 2014.
Black cherry and dark spice on the nose of this superb red wine, especially for the money. Finishes with more dark fruit and a touch of pepper. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
