Produced by Jean-Paul Paquet, vitic., Domaine Les Vieux Murs 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé is a vegan-friendly dry and mouth-watering white wine sourced from Chardonnay vines over 50 years of age. Look for fresh, bright apple, dried pineapple, nutty, stony mineral and lemon-lime zest flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled seafood dishes. Jean-Paul Paquet began to work the vines of Les Vieux Murs in 1978.

Pouilly-Fuissé food pairings: veal chops, grilled chicken, roast quail.

Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely medium lemon coloured wine with a pronounced aroma of hazel nuts, lemon, stone fruit ranging from peach to apricot and a white floral perfume. Dry, medium acidity, medium bodied and with a creamy mouthfeel. Paired very well with salmon fish cakes a la Jamie Oliver (lemon zest and chives complemented the wines flavours) and a rich potato au gratin dish made with cream and Asiago cheese. Would be pleasant on its own.
