Rustic tart blackberries and blueberries. Cedar brush and full-bodied. Juicy and mouth-watering. Great for BBQ meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Alain Charpentier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine produced in the Rhône Valley is composed of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Carignan grapes, mostly harvested from very old vines.
This medium to full-bodied red has aromas of raspberries, cranberries and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine is smooth and velvety with mouth-watering ripe red fruit, a touch of spice and a long finish. This is a excellent wine for the price.
Pairing suggestion: moussakas
Simmered berry nose with a baked crust and light liquorice. Mobile run of blueberry on the palate, backed by crunchy, crisp tannins. Broad, tempting. Score: 4 (out of 5) Source: Decanter World Wine Awards, 2012
