Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

My love affair with Cornas is only quelled by the relatively small quantities that are available for purchase in this province. Eric and Joel Durand have crafted a masterful Cornas in the 2012 vintage, featuring very tactile aromas and flavours of blackberry, raspberry, red plum skin, hung game, dried herb and chalky minerals. A tremendous effort meant to be enjoyed (in my opinion) younger than most. Drink now through 2026. 93 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
The 2012 vintage of the southern French red wine Cornas Empreintes offers aromas of dark red and black fruit, smoke and pepper. This is the winery's largest production blend. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
