Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A complex and broad nose sharing subtle notes of red cherry, clove, nutmeg, and leather. Palate expresses ripe red fruit accented by oak spice and a pleasant note of minerality. Keeps good acidity despite high ripeness and a body of 15% ABV. A bit on the tight side, so give this some cellar time or a generous decant. Matches perfectly with lamb with provencal herbs and beef Bourguigon.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely ruby colour. This is an elegant, refined blend. Some light cherry and red fruits still emerge on the palate. Silky mouthfeel. Good length with a pleasant finish. Begs for beef bourguignon. Tasted April 2019.
Domaine Du Grand Tinel 2015 is a Châteauneuf-Du-Pape from the Rhône Wine Region, a full-bodied and robust red wine blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre with ripe dark cherry, dark berry, cake spice, cigar box and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Needs a big, grilled steak to match it 15% abv. Wine grapes are sourced from the La Gardiole and Palestor lieux-dits. Enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
