Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A very good value wine from Languedoc, Southern France, this wine is a blend of Syrah and Grenache. Red berry aromas and Mediterranean herbs on the palate. Well balanced with medium tannins, smooth finish. Serve with barbequed meat.
From the Corbières in the Languedoc wine region, Domaine Des Vals 2017 is a dry, medium-bodied red blend of Grenache and Syrah sourced from the South of France. Fragrant with ripe strawberry, raspberry and dark cherry aromas on the nose, spicy and generous on the palate. Tannins are smooth. Great value under $15. Pair with grilled meats and hard cheeses.- Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
