Reviews and Ratings

Muscat Beaumes De Venise from Domaine Des Bernardins is a Vin Doux Naturel. The 2015 vintage (375 ml) is a blend of 75% Muscat Blanc petits grains and 25% Muscat Rosé petit grains grapes. The fermentation for VDN is stopped to retain some of the sweetness and fruit freshness in the Muscat grape. Up to 10% of grape spirit is added to the wine. The nose on this VDN is lovely with orange peel, quince and touch of honey. Viscous but still light on the palate, this dessert wine would go with a fresh fruit and custard flan, as it would with honey cake or hazelnut biscotti. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
