From Savennières in the Loire, Domaine Des Baumard Clos Du Papillon 2014 Chenin Blanc is produced from a single-vineyard and is dry, medium-bodied and vibrant with briny mineral, citrus zest, fine herb, green olive and nutty flavours concentrated on the palate. Produced from 100% Chenin Blanc, the acidity on this wine is racy but still manages to be luxuriously creamy on the palate and finishes long on a mineral and lemongrass note. Complex and absolutely lovely! Savennières is a tiny region located on the northern banks of the Loire River, just across from the town of Rochefort Sur Loire. The entire appellation is about 360 acres.

Food pairings: grilled turkey burgers, pork tenderloin, grilled chicken breasts.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
