Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 92/100
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wine is medium ruby in colour, dry, medium bodied, refreshing acidity and moderate tannin with a moderate intensity nose of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry and vanilla. Some stemminess on the palate along with strawberry and raspberry. From the label; 100% malolactic fermentation, French oak, native yeast, average age of vines is 67 years old and clay-limestone soil. A real pleasure to drink; both with and without food; I paired it with beef braised with mushrooms.
From Domaine De Bellene Maison Dieu Vieilles Vignes (2015) the Pinot Noir wine grapes for this Burgundian dry red were sourced from 70 year old grape vines (vielles vignes). - Community Wine Reviews
