A gorgeous rose of a wine: delicate yet concentrated with flavour. Seductive fleshy red cherries, satin texture and a finish that goes on forever. One of the best pinot noirs that I’ve tasted in quite some time. Why do I always fall in love with the expensive ones?

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2020. Quite vibrant for 12 years old, but colour is heading towards a brick colour, and there are some tertiary mineral and earthy notes. Still a bit of cranberry on the nose, soft tannins (Quite a lot of sediment at this point), and some medium acidity. If you prefer more bright flavours, I would recommend drinking the 2008's soon, but I am sure some of the later vintages have quite a lot of life left! Enjoy with mushroom wellington.
