Full-on classic Old World chardonnay! Hazelnut richness from the oak aging wraps around peach, green apple and other tree fruit. Rich, complex, full-bodied and has a long finish.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled ahi tuna, herbed buttermilk chicken, chèvre or Brie cheeses.

The Morgeot vineyard is home to perhaps the most prestigious terroir of the famed Chassagne-Montrachet appellation. This is a great value in 1er Cru from a top vintage. The warmth of 2009 is evident here in a round and plush Chardonnay with plenty of poise. Displays aromas and flavours of sweet citrus, apple, pear, roasted nuts, butter cream and smoke, along with subtle herbal nuances. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
