Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Sample tasted as part of Austrian Tasting Ontario - Stay at Home edition. Sweet and decadent! This is a lovely, rich dessert wine made from Scheurebe, but would also be a nice match for dried fruit, cheese and nuts. Notes of honey, pear, and peaches, with lovely balancing acidity, a smooth, silky texture, and a lengthy finish.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A joy to drink. On the nose emerged loads of rich apricot, honey, lychee, floral and spice that announced a lovely, lightly mouth-coating texture and a lingering finish.

Unoaked and crafted with the Scheurebe varietal, this beerenauslese style wine showed some sweetness but a sugar-bomb it is not. Enjoy matching this creation from Austria’s Burgenland wine region with nuts and blue cheeses.

Experienced at June 2021’s Austrian Tasting Ontario - Stay at Home edition.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
