Natalie's Score: 90/100

This fresh, crisp BC white wine made from Chardonnay grapes and is unoaked, thus the reference to "Not so knotty" (wood). Reminds me more of fresh linens on a spring day than Dirty Laundry with aromas of lime and lemon zest. Pair with crossing off the last item on your chores list and fresh seafood.

Chardonnay food pairings: stuffed chicken roasted, beef bourguignon, pork tenderloin, ravioli served in an Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Bright pale straw, declared 12.9% ABV. An Okanagan unoaked Chard with ripe fruit, tasting ripe bruised apple, crisp Asian pear, a hint of clover honey. Tasted 2014 vintage in June 2017. 89 points
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

It's hard to believe that this Chard is unoaked. Aromas show intense baked apple, pouched pear and wild flower honey notes. A lovely medium bodied summer sipper. Enjoyed with salmon cakes. Tasted June 2017 by @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
This BC white wine won a Gold Medal at the 2015 All Canadian Wine Championships. According to the wine's back lable, during the gold rush era, the town laundry seemed innocent enough. Little did anyone know about the naughty business that went on behind closed doors in Summerland as everyone kept that "hush hush". - Community Wine Reviews
