Deux Roches Les Pommards 2021 is a Burgundian Chardonnay with grapes sourced from a small plot on the rocky lower slopes of Solutré in the village of Davayé in Saint Véran. Fresh, lively and detailed with ripe pear, passionfruit, lime zest, butter and spicy notes with flinty mineral underpinning, this is an elegant Chard, textured with zesty on the palate. Chill and enjoy it through 2033.

Food pairings: seafood ravioli with Alfredo sauce, grilled monkfish, veal blanquette.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely Burgundian Chardonnay, with aromas of golden apple and pear, almond, and a touch of buttery popcorn. Medium bodied and rich on the palate with a luscious texture. Flavours of golden citrus and apple mingle with a mineral note, and a soft finish. Enjoy with grilled halibut or any creamy seafood pasta.
