Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Salmon coloured with fine bubbles, this crisp yet opulent Champagne has aromas of poached apples, pear pastry, brioche and hazelnut. On the palate, there are citrus flavours, lemon tartness, as well as red berries, croissant, and a slight nutty quality. Absolutely yummy!

Pair with appetizers, soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert, seafood, grilled or smoked salmon, or prosciutto.

Tasted November 2017
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A solid rosé Champagne. It is made with mostly Pinot Noir, but there is a dash of Chardonnay in there for depth. The fruit was sourced from expensove, swanky gramd crus around the Montagne de Reims. This one is super zesty and refreshing.
Pale pink, with orange hues. White, aggressive perlage forms on top.
Ultra fresh aromas of cranberry, pink grapefruit, blood orange, and a slight smokey character.
Tons of acidity builds this up, as you drink it. Sooooo drinkable. There are a lot more berry and citrus, and a lip-smacking finish.
This would be a fantastic holiday pairing, for turkey or ham. Piri piri chicken or sardines would be great too.
Deutz Brut is a rosé Champagne with backbone and finesse with satiny pink grapefruit, citrus, nut and smoky flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
