Vintages Wine Panel: Silver Medal winner at the 2008 Mâcon Wine Challenge. This is an exceptional value for a wine of this quality, showing how handsomely the 2007 vintage rewarded the Côtes du Rhône wines. Filled with black fruit, plum, spice and cranberry aromas. Dry, nicely concentrated with an impeccable balance between the fruit, acids, and tannins. Drink it now with steaks or roast beef, or hold it for two years or more. My note: Juicy, simple, tasty and medium- to full-bodied. Black cherry and smoke notes. Ultimate party wine that won’t break the bank.

Food pairings: beef stew, barbecued pork chops, lamb chops in red wine sauce.
