Decoy 2021 Merlot is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and richly layered 100% Merlot with grapes sourced from Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Mendocino County, Russian River Valley and Los Carneros wine regions (37%/26%/16%/13%/8%). This vintage is lush and luxurious with ripe dark berry fruit, plum, cassis, baking spices, savoury herbs and mocha notes creamy on the palate with a long finish. So very good now!

Reviews and Ratings

From the Duckhorn Portfolio, Decoy 2021 Merlot is the second label of Duckhorn and is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and richly layered 100% Merlot with grapes sourced from Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Mendocino County, Russian River Valley and Los Carneros wine regions (37%/26%/16%/13%/8%). Always a crowd pleaser, it is fragrant with pink florals, ripe raspberry, fine herbs and toasty oak spice flavours smooth on the palate with fine-grained and elegant tannins. Enjoy it through 2027. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
