Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Oak, butter, and popcorn aromas in lovely balance with pear, apple, lemon, and a pinch of peach. Great acidity, super crisp and fresh. Barrels lead on the finish, but there's more than enough fruit to preserve the elegant harmony and styling. A little more old world than new, nicely done with fresh and restrained fruit and oak, and an undeniable food friendly nature. Widely versatile on the dinner table, but my first choice is pork chops with applesauce.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay is light-bodied, fruity and citrusy with pineapple and lychee on the nose and lemon on the palate. Soft, medium plus finish. Pair it with white fish or scallops. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
De Wetshof Lesca Estate 2018 Chardonnay is a dry, lighter-weight Chardonnay from the Robertson wine region. Fragrant with a binned apple, lemongrass and clean mineral aromas on the nose. Vibrant with lighter flavours of white-fleshed stone fruit with a clean mineral finish. Fresh and lively. Pair with steamed freshwater shrimp. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
