Reviews and Ratings

Mymi Thesingingsommelier - Sommelier, FWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is my "go-to" pink bubbly to "celebrate-anything-and-nothing-at-all"!!!
It is made by Alliance Loire, a modern day "vignerons" co-op who believes that wine cannot be good without the respect of the man who creates and produces it, and without the respect of nature.
This sparkling is made in the "méthode traditionnelle" with 100% Cabernet Franc from vines that range between 20 to 30 years of age. It is produced and matured near Saumur in the Loire Valley in troglodyte cellars!
In the glass, it has a bright pale peachy salmon color with fine but persistent bubbles.
On the nose, it has faint aromas of fresh strawberries, ripe nectarines, a little clover honey and fresh white spring flowers.
On the palate, the bubbles transform into a delightful mousse on the tongue. It is light, dry with subtle acidity. Reminds me of a delicate pear and red berry fruit salad. Yum yum!
Great to accompany brunch dishes, think eggs Benedictine, blueberry/banana/strawberry pancakes, a shrimp/mint/grapefruit salad or even any kind of scallop dishes!!!
Or enjoy simply on its own, surrounded by your favorite people, or dog!

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A pale pink sparkling Cremant de Loire made from Cabernet Franc and Grolleau with Strawberry, nectarine, raspberry and pink grapefruit citrus alongside lingering elements of mouthwatering rhubarb and fresh herbs. Dry, delightful and a great accompaniment to smoked salmon canapes and soft cheeses. Cheers!
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Crisp, clean and dry with notes of wild strawberry, field berry and brioche. Long red berry finish. Would pair wonderfully with spinach, goat cheese salad topped with strawberries and walnuts.
Sara rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Nice in summer, dry but some fruit.
